Improving the Field Of Brachyspira Diagnostics
Congratulations to Ruwini on her review article and first manuscript to come out of her Ph.D! Her manuscript entitled "A review of the current state of antimicrobial susceptibility test methods for Brachyspira" was just published online in the Canadian Journal of Microbiology, click here for the full story.
This manuscript is a landmark achievement for Ruwini and TheRubinLab, as we have summarized some of the challenges and obstacles facing the Brachyspira diagnostic community and possibilities for making some improvements. Additionally, this paper has been a great opportunity for Ruwini to demonstrate her expertise in antimicrobial susceptibility testing and Brachyspira to the world!
Stay tuned for Ruwini's first manuscript describing the antimicrobial susceptibility of Western Canadian Brachyspira isolates and some of the methods she developed to characterize these bugs.
